Pena Palace
Completed in 1854, this castle visible from Lisbon and most regional area on a good day. It is One of the seven wonders of poetugal, used by government officials of portugal occasioanlly.
How to go there
From Entecrampos, lisbon get on (18280 Sintra) → get off at Sintra station. From Estacao, sintra, get on (1253 Sintra Estacao) to Calçada de São Pedro → get off and walk half an hour to National Palace of Pena. Total time circa 1:30 Hrs.

Moorish Castle
Famous for its snake-shape wall lying on the Sintra hills, it is a 10-centry fort built during the period the Moor occupied the Iberian peninsula (now Spain and Portugal).

Quinta da Regaleira
Designed by the Italian architect Luigi Manini, the palace is known as the “The Palace of Monteiro the Millionaire”, with a Romantic palace and chapel, and a luxurious park that features lakes, grottoes, wells, benches, fountains, and a vast array of exquisite constructions. It is one of the principle attractions in Portugal alongside with those affordmentioned.

Cabo da Roca
The cape ( means headland, extending to the body of water),it is the westernmost point of the Sintra mountain range, and also the entity of continental Europe. In there stands a lighthouse in service since 1772. The cliff view overlooking the ocean alongside historical construction is spectacular.
